The SAS Backplanes as well as the removable bays, are all exclusively designed and made of Aluminum so that they are especially suited to keeping the HDDs cool. The Backplane is Plug & Play compatible and supports hot swap. With an 80mm fan, even the fastest hard disks are kept cool. The operating status of each hard drive as well as the power and the activity of the fans, are shown at the front of the Backplane by LEDs. In addition there is a reset button, which is also used to stop the alarm for the fans. The hard disks are screwed into the slots, which can then be easily removed by twisting the lock and a spring mechanism in the back will push them out.

- Gute Verarbeitung, Interessante Features, Tolle Optik
- extrem Läuter Lüfter, lächerlich Beschreibung
Der Zweite wird komplett durch einen derart lärmenden Lüfter versaut was angesicht des Preises in meinen Augen eine Frechheit ist.
Denn nicht jeder kann und will an einem neuen Gerät rumbasteln.
Ich hoffe Chieftech bietet dafür ein Lüfterupgrade an.
