- At stock speeds it is a good performer, Turbo mode works well when it does., I have mine overclocked at 3.8 ghz and could probably get it to 4.2 if I wanted to but I am very satisfied with a stable 3.8 for right now., Get around 65-70 fps on BFBC2 maxed out
- First off with 4 dimms populated, (lets be fair 4GB is hardly enough and 4GB sticks are still way too expensive) there is no pleasing this cpu beyond stock speeds. It can only handle 1333mhz memory, and barely at that., Turbo mode is not usable for overclocking and the max oc with hyperthreading still enabled is 3.6ghz., Here are too many particularities inherent to P55/1156 irregardless of whether one gets a good sample or not.

Habe jetzt seit ca. 2 Monaten meinen neuen PC mit Intel Core i7 860. Laut Windows 7-Leistungsindex hat er 7,5, mit oc auf 4,2 GHz 7,9 mehr geht nicht :).
Wie von Intel gewohnt einfach eine TOP CPU.
Windows 7 x64 und VMWare mit 2 - 3 laufenden Maschienen bringen die CPU nicht wirklich aus der Ruhe... da muss man schon Prime95 anwerfen ;-). Würd ich wieder kaufen. Fazit: Leistung und Stromverbrauch TOP
