The O!Play Air HDP-R3 streams a wide variety of audio, photo, and high-definition video formats from PCs, NAS, card readers and other USB or eSATA-connected devices. Formats supported include MPEG1/2/4, H.264, VC-1, and the popular RMVB. Additionally, the HD media player delivers up to 1080p Full HD image rendering.
The O!Play Air HDP-R3 comes with wireless capabilities that allow it to retrieve content effortlessly. By supporting the 802.11n wireless networking standard, the HD media player is capable of stable and rapid wireless data transfers at maximum throughputs of 600Mbps. Additionally, the HD media player can wirelessly stream content from a PC, with its O!Link application providing easy file browsing and sharing capabilities. For more convenience in the future, developments are now underway to integrate the HD media player with Internet services.

- Ansprechende und stabile Verarbeitung, Hohe Formatvielfalt die abspielbar ist, Schnelles WLAN verbaut
- kleinere Fehler in der Firmware (die mit Updates behoben werden könnten), Fernbedienung dürfte verlässlicher arbeiten
Das kleine Schmuckstück verträgt tatsächlich sehr viele Formate. Hier wurden wirklich Nägel mit Köpfen gemacht. XviD-Avi mit mehrfacher Tonspur, kein Problem. MKV mit h264-Video und AC3- oder DTS-Ton, auch kein Problem. Jedoch dürfen die MKV nicht mit mkvtoolnix ab Version 4.1 oder höher mit komprimiertem Header erstellt worden sein, da gibt es noch Nachholbedarf. DVD-Dateien in einem Ordner abgelegt, wird erkannt und komplett mit Menü abgespielt.
Einbindung ins eigene WLAN-Netzwerk war auch kein Problem, wobei der automatische Assistent nicht verlässlich arbeitet. Er nimmt automatisch eine WEP-Verschlüsselung an und kann daher nicht verbinden, ... read more

Nun kann ich nur auf firmware-Updates hoffen.
