The PRIMERGY SX910 S1 Storage Blade Tape module can be used to archive and backup local data. It can be equipped with one LTO tape drive. The built-in tape drive is operated via an integrated SAS controller.
- Midplane connection via PCIe x4 interface
No additional cabling thanks to the direct connection to server blades via the high-performance midplane, no need for additional tape drive controller slots in server blades. - Support of LTO-3, LTO-4 and LTO-5 tape drives
Flexible through selection option for tape drive technology according to the specific project requirements, and thus investment protection.
