  • Beiligende Brennsoftware
Schicker BlueRay-Brenner.Habe ihn auf dem beiligenden Standfuß in Betrieb.Wodurch er weniger Platz einnimmt,als wenn ich ihn hinlegen würde. Die Front ist mit vier Linien,welche in Strahlenform angeordnet sind,dezent blau beleuchtet.Diese Beleuchtung lässt sich mit beiliegender Software,welche auf den PC installiert werden muss,in der Helligkeit einstellen. Brenner wird sofort erkannt,habe ihn unter Windows XP und Win7 zu laufen. Das Y-USB-Kabel zum Anschluss ist ca.50cm lang.Der Mini-USB-Stecker am Gerät selber,steckt zwar etwas wackelig drin,aber es gibt keinerlei Kontaktprobleme. Das Laufwerkgeräusch ist für mich in Ordnung. Die CD-Lade ist auch etwas wackelig,aber dies ist auch bei anderen Laufwerken so. Das Gehäuse ist glänzend schwarz,was gut aussieht,aber bei häufigem Hin-und Hertragen Probleme verursachen könnte.Sprich Fingerabdrücke und kleine Kratzer. Die beiligende Brennsoftware von Cyberlink nutze ich nicht.Ist auch nicht die Neueste. Will man die Software installieren erscheint ein Menu in spanisch(?).Ist aber nicht das Problem,Rest ist dann wieder englisch. Habe mir nur den BluTuner(einstellen der Helligkeit) und die TurboEngine(ASUS-Softwaretreiber) von der CD installiert. Fazit: Schicker BlueRay-Brenner,der nicht nur gut aussieht,sonder auch gut funktioniert.
Seine recht guten Lauf-und Brenneigenschaften kann man in diversen Tests nachlesen.

  • Writes and reads - everything!, Normal mini usb connector.
  • Pretty flimsy case.
The drive is visible in all programs to record. No additional power supply wires. Writes at 4x speed 25GB in 20 minutes. Beautiful lighting and an ergonomic stand steady! Quiet! Reads 3D discs! Fazit: Beautiful unit, which serves faithfully.
